Camp Adams (formally N-4) (Ascom, Inchon Area)

Master Sergeant Stanley Adams, Company A,19th Infantry, 24th Infantry was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions on February 4th, 1951. Adams charged an enemy company so hos platoon could escape. He fought with five wounds while his fellow soldiers found safety. This was camp was named on 1964.

Camp Adams began in 1953 as an infantry compound with tents, and improve to Quonset Huts. During the 1960's Armor and Supply units occupied Camp Adams. A ROK Army Armor Unit acquired Camp Adams in 1971.

1st Lieutenant Alex N. Williams Executive Officer of the 6th Missile Battalion died as his unit deployed to Korea in 1959. When the 6th Missile Battalion maintenance camp was opened in 1960 it name was changed from Camp Ori to Camp Williams in honor of 1st Lieutenant Alex N. Williams.

Camp Williams was the maintenance center for the missile units in the Tongduchon area. Cam Williams was located two miles south of Tongduchon on highway 3. camp Williams was turned over to the ROK in 1970.
